Markets Galore

So I am very excited to be taking part in the new Market At The Square in Umhlanga tomorrow night. It is in the lovely Granada Square, should the weather hold. Don't despair if it doesn't then it will be in the basement parking.

And I have been invited to be part of the Wonder Market at the Chris Saunders Park, also in Umhlanga. So Umhlanga is the place to be this weekend. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Etsy Craft Party & Spiga

I have had a Spiga filled two weeks. First there was the Etsy Craft Party. Thanks to Nadia van der Mescht. It was great fun and craft filled. And by the way it was the only official one in South Africa.

Then it was Share a Square organised by I Heart Market and Spiga. This is an initiative to make knitted or crocheted squares that will then be made into blankets for people that need them in the winter chills. I  did more teaching then crocheting, but was still fun.

And last it is the I Heart Market & Spiga collaboration, Winter Showcase Suitcase. I will be there. I will have a small selection and my new Skulls

You can get them in sterling silver or bronze on an oxidised silver chain.

Market, Stars and Mothers Day

So it is market time again. Great poster!!!
So May means Mothers Day!! So why not come and get your mum something special and handmade from the market. I have these great little star pendants on a chain, perfect for the star in you life - MUM.

They come in two different sizes and in 3 colours, silver, blackened and bronze.

So the Suitcase Showcase market at Spiga was great. A rather social event. Here are some pics of the market, or what I saw!!

The next I heart market will be a Peoples Park this Saturday. Always a great place as the kids have the amazing play area.

Hello 2013

So another year has past and we are into a new one. I welcome 2013 with open arms. So to start it I will be at the I heart Market this Saturday. I hope that 2013 brings all you want it to.

I Heart Geometrics

So it is market time again and there are 3 for December.

I have these great geometric hearts for sale, they make great Christmas pressies.

Yes it's market time again. I do have some great Day of the Dead pendants (sorry not photos). But I did make geometric rings today inspired by my other geometric shapes. I need to be creative today.

Remember we are at Peoples Park tomorrow and there is a great play area for the kids.

Spring Market

We are at Peoples Park on the south side of the stadium. There is an amazing jungle-gym for the kids.

Market time again. We have an autumn theme going. Although it might be autumn it is still pretty warm here. I love this time of year.

Sorry there haven't been any other posts but I have been busy lecturing and trying to get orders out. Oh yes and being a bridesmaid for my oldest friend Lisa. Congrats Lise and Rich. It was a great wedding.

Wow this Christmas season is going to be great. So many markets featuring makers and crafters. There are so many makers, crafters, designers out there lets support them.
