City Pool
I went to the museum to day with Rhys to find that we where a bit early, so we went for a walk. We found the empty City Pools. It was sad to see it in that state but fun to "swim" in and have races.

Fundraiser
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Zulu Beadwork Project in creating two necklaces for Thanda Zulu. These pieces among others will be auctioned in London to raise money for the organisation. They are based in KwaZulu Natal doing amazing work to improve the lives of children with their after-school program. The auction is on the 7 November 2011, Art First Gallery, 21 Eastcastle St, London, W1W 8DD.

Cotton Candy
I have been working with this cotton cord for a while. I just loved the colours, they come in so many delicious candy colours. I have made these little stamped silver pendants that hang on them. They are finished off with a handmade silver button. Here are a few variations, lots more available and more colours.
They make great gifts, remember Christmas is coming soon??!!!
I also found some silver tube beads in my box of tricks so, I tried them on the cotton too. So simple, love it. I feel that it definitely has an African flavor.

I have been working on some new ideas, this is the beginning of the African Gypsy range. So many ideas, so little time. (I will get there.)
